We are relatively new home schoolers and still adjusting and finding our way and currently we are investigating classical learning. After the children had several frightening “social experiences” at the public elementary school, we brought both my then 9 year son and 7 year old daughter home – what a wonderful adventure we have begun! Theresa, now just turning 8, has always been interested in artistic expression. When she was seven she developed an intense interest in working with modeling clay and she has expressed her desire to develop that talent on into adulthood. Here are two of her many works. Her sense of scale seems to be very good (in the humble opinion of an absolutely-no-artistically-talented mom).
