November never bothers me. But every February finds me calling private schools in the area ‘just to check’ tuition prices for the following year. So I take 2 weeks off then.

DS13 says he is going to do algebra, history and spelling EVERY day and finish by February, even though I told him to take the week off. Makes for good chit chat around the Thanksgiving table when all the other kids are busy with Dance Dance Revolution and your kid’s studying inverse equations…

With all the cleaning and other preparations for Thanksgiving (we have a crowd here, including overnight guests), we had no choice but to take the week off!
