I am itching to begin classical homeschooling of my little two and am thinking of just going ahead and purchasing the "revised and updated" version (2004) of the WTM. I have the newest edition on pre-order, but am wondering if the other edition is just as good. Does it include when to use WWE? Or do I wait and purchase the newest edition?
I'm WAY TOO EAGER to get going here!!

I'd wait because so much seems to change yearly. Could you check your library and get the current version while you are waiting?

YOU SHOULD WAIT.
Resources go out of print, and that's especially true for the elementary resources--books for K-4 cycle out of availability very, very quickly. So, you should wait. :-) SWB |

You could get it at the library, or get it used. I, personally, have both editions, and even if some of the resources are OOP, I have found them used. Amazon, eBay, or just having a list in my mind and looking at our Goodwill. I'm sure I'll get the 3rd edition, as well. The first edition is so scribbled in and underlined, and now I'm marking up number 2!
