My 13yodd loves the Christy Miller novels by Robin Jones Gunn. I like the fact that they've opened up a lot of wonderfully frank discussions at our house about "difficult" topics (promiscuity, drugs, suicide, etc.). Christy and her close friends successfully navigate these turbulent waters because of their deep-rooted Christian values.
They've been fabulous books for dd, but now she's read them all. :( What to read next? Dd doesn't want anything "too preachy." Any suggestions?
