We just got ours and I'm VERY happy with the quality and the kids are excited too...

Not the same exact one but like ours

Ours is the Carson Adventure Pak, http://www.opticsplanet.net/carson-hu-401-adventurepak.html (this is where we ordered from)

The kids are bubbling over with excitement to go outside! The Carson one comes with its own carrying bag that the kids can put on their belts. This is perfect for short excursions and longer ones.

:) Just sharing b/c I know the board has been a buzz regarding this stuff lately.

Hey Jessica,

I have been looking at binoculars for my kids online for a couple of weeks now. Do you feel the magnification power of the binoculars that came in the pack is sufficient? I don't want to spend alot of money but I also want to get some that work.
Thanks for all you share.

I would definitely consider this a 'starter' pack. The binoculars could be upgraded as the child ages and matures. 5x30 is considered good for bird watching but I've seen 5x35 recommended more in the books we have. These work. :)
