Awesome Experiments in Force & Motion, by Michael DiSpezio
This is similar to the Janice VanCleave books. I liked it better because I felt the explanations of the results were more in depth, and the order of the experiments flowed better from one to the next.
Excellent condition - $5 ppd

Science Explorer – Life
This is the 800+ page hardcover edition. It is a 2001 edition. It is in very good condition, well-used, but the pages and binding are in good shape. I also have an unused Guided Reading and Study Workbook, California edition. It doesn’t line up perfectly, but most sections I was able to easily match with the text. $22 ppd

Here are a few of the supplies we used for life science labs:

Biuret reagent (tests for protein), Benedict’s Solution (tests for glucose), Bromothymol Blue (pH indicator, detects carbon dioxide) These are each 30 ml bottles, and we used very little of each. There is easily enough for several more tries of each of the experiments in Science Explorer. $6ppd

18 prepared slides: marine diatoms, dinoflagellate, blue-green algae, radiolarian, crab larva, rotifers, planaria, tapeworm, vinegar eel, human bone, human blood, frog skin, frog sperm, frog ovary, frog blood, muscle (3 types), elodea, onion root tip. $20 ppd

Visible man – tedious gluing and painting already done J. $8 ppd

SomeBody Game from Aristoplay – 5 games for 1-4 players, ages 6 and up. All pieces and instructions in excellent condition. $14 ppd
