Can you tell me about this? Is it a stand alone curriculum for history?

GREAT commentary. We use it as a supplement and have done so for years.
It has no quizzes or tests; it does have some essay assignements, but they are more worldview-focused and not so much history-focussed.
I love Truthquest, but I don't use it as a stand-alone curriculum.

Think of TQ as a framed in house. It gives you an outline of all the topics you can cover, with cometary to introduce those topics and a list of books broken down first by if it is a spine (covers many subjects) or individual title (one topic) and then by appropriate age rage. TQ is your frame but there is still work to be done, choosing books, figuring out a schedule, either finding mapping or map things as you go. Timeline figures could be taken from the topics themselves, so you wouldn't need to worry about that. No tests as Gwen stated.
I generally use TQ as a book list to supplement other things we are use.
