I have lots of Sweetened condensed milk and cake mixes. Any good ideas for a dessert to use these? I have other basic baking supplies as well but no pie filling. I need a dessert for a family reunion tomorrow night.

When we have SCMilk we make cookie bars: Graham Cracker crumbs mixed with butter for the bottom layer, S.C.Milk for the middle layer, and then whatever we have on top (choc morsels, nuts, coconut, butterscotch morsels, etc.) Schweeeeeet ! ;o)

Eagle Brand has a bunch of recipes using the sweetened condensed milk, too. Scads of good stuff! :) The few I've tried from there have all been good.

Yep, everyone loves these!
Once, when I discovered I was out of half-and-half I made homemade mac-and-cheese with sweetened condensed milk. It was delicious. :o

Oh oh oh! Rachael Ray's Five Minute Fudge Wreath!
12 oz semi sweet chips
9 oz butterscotch chips
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
raisins or currants
walnuts
Melt the chips and milk and vanilla all together. Save the milk can and cover it with saran wrap. Grease a round cake pan and put the covered milk can in the center. When the chocolate, etc. is melted, add the dried fruit and nuts, pour quickly into the pan and fridgerate for 5 minutes. Remove from pan when solid and viola! a fudge wreath!
