hardback Saxon versus softback Saxon...

Are there really any differences? I can get the older version for a great price... but just want to be sure I am making the right choice here..

I'm not sure of any differences. THe soft covers are the homeschool packs. As far as information, I don't think there is a difference...at least any significant enough to warrant my paying the big bucks for the homeschool pack!
