DD wants to take French, I think she should take Spanish as it is the 'most practical' to me. Our state requires 1 full yr of foreign language and most colleges we have looked at require 2.
Is there a language that colleges look for more than another, or should we just go with what she prefers to study?
This is our first year hsing, and high school is scaring me;)

Although you may think Spanish is more practical, French is just equally fine too.

Go with what she wants. There's only one school I know of that wants a modern language (Air Force Academy). i've come accross a few others that won't accept American Sign Langauge.
