History/Geography:
Learning Works series, Mythology, Archeology, Architecture, 112 pages, cover is fine except where a price tag took off some of the color, typical activity workbook pages for hands-on things to do, looks to be about grades 2 – 8, $5 ppd.
Make it Work! Maps, regular pb, very good condition, $4 ppd.
Dinah Zike’s Big Book of United States History, very good condition, no writing, text in color, $14 ppd.
Set of History helps, Frank Schaffer Publications, U.S. History, Part I and Part II, Blackline Reproducibles for Grades 4 – 6 (20 pages each), also a North America Geography Mini-Unit for Grades 4 -5 (fols out to 8 pages, color on one side, b/w on the other with things to do). 3 items for $5 ppd
History Makers IEW supplement for World History, grades 5 - 8. I just purchased, but then got a duplicate book, so now this is extra. $20 new, my price is $14 ppd.
Ancient Egyptians and Their Neighbors, An Activity Guide to Hittites, Nubians, Mesopotamians, and Egyptians, by Marian Broida, ex-lib, good condition, library stickers, no writing, $6 ppd.
Ancient Greek Monuments to Make, The Parthenon and the Theatre of Dionysos of the Acropolis, excellent condition, $4 ppd.
Full Steam Ahead, the Race to Build a Transcontinental Railroad by Rhoda Blumberg, $4 ppd.
The Sinking of the Titanic and GreatSea Disasters, like new book, from The Vision Forum, $8 ppd.
Canada unit study guide for grades 2-5, like new, includes a separate timeline for Canada, $5 ppd.
Meet Addy, excellent condition, 8.5 x 6 inches, paid $4.75 new, my price $3 ppd.
Fast Forward Pyramid, hardcover, excellent condition, tabs on the side taking you from 2700 b.c. to current times, shows how things have changed over 12 tabs. Almost a “Where’s Waldo” feel to it. List Price is $14.95, my price is $5 ppd.
2 History Hunters books, excellent condition, hardcover, Temple of the Sun (Aztecs) and Sunken Treasure (Greeks), very cool looking books, each 32 pages long, grades 1 – 8 I would say. $4 ppd. each
Himalayan Adventures, by Penny Reeve, excellent condition, 1-84550-080-6, $4.50 ppd.
Rainforest Adventures, by Horace Banner, excellent shape, 1-85792-627-7, $4.50 ppd.
McGraw-Hill Bland Map Outlines, United States and the World, 0-88012-668-x, no writing, clean, $5 ppd.
Little Pear (Odyssey Classic book) by Eleanor F. Lattimore, pb, excellent shape, AND Little Pear and His Friends, pb (slightly yellowing, but same cover art as Little Pear), very good condition, both books, $6 ppd.
Castle PBS Video, host David Macaulay takes you through a colorful animation of his story of a 13th century Welsh castle. In very good condition, $6 ppd.
The Hidden Treasure of Glaston, by Eleanore M. Jewett, excellent condition, $7 ppd.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, very good condition, larger pb, $6.50 ppd.
TRISMS History Makers, this is the 2001 edition with the CD which adds items to the guide, updates it, and includes the IEW supplement (there also is a printed one already in the guide).
There are a few wrinkled pages in the guide, but it does not affect the text at all, very useable.
No writing except a stray pencil mark or two (I can erase if desired). There are side tabs that someone before me added that need to be redone (a few coming apart).
I had the spine taken off so I could rearrange the pages in a 3 hole binder. That way, you can insert items into any particular week. All the student pages are in page protectors.
Everything (except the binder) is included. $45 ppd.
These items are from a non-smoking home. I can accept a non-credit card PayPal, check or money order payment.
Thanks for reading Part 2 of my list!
