Do you consider this to be High School Level? Could I have my Spanish tutor teach this to my kid in 7th and 8th and let it count as 1 year credit? I am not even close to planning for high school, except it looks like I am! Oh goodness I will have plenty of questions.

Yes, Paso a Paso 1, 2, and 3 are high school Spanish 1, 2, and 3 books. PaP A and B are junior high books which each contain half a year from PaP 1, and are taught over two full years, usually in PS 7th and 8th grades. A student taking PaP A and B in jr high would go straight into PaP 2 for Spanish 2 high school credit.

PaP is a good program, but I thought it would help to beef it up in the grammar dept with a little more thorough grammar explanation, so we used !Exacto! as a grammar resource along with grammar explanations from Study Spanish (online). (Most hs Spanish programs are even more lacking in grammar, when compared to PaP.)

Quia has a lot of PaP teacher-generated quiz and review pages.

Thanks for the information. The teacher has taught Paso a Paso before and is willing to split it into two years for me. I am so glad to know that it will count! I will look into the online information, too. My kids have had Spanish since K - just vocabulary and a little translation so I think they can handle this. :)
