FS: Like new VHS complete set of The Teaching Company Classics of American Literature. Taught by Arnold Weinstein of Brown University.

This set consists of 84 lectures, 30 minutes in length.

Lectures include Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography, Washington Irving-The first American Storyteller, Ralph Waldo Emerson-Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow(3 lectures),Henry David Thoreaul-(3 lectures), Edgar Allan Poe(3 lectures), Nathaniel Hawthorne and the American Past, The Scarlet Letter, and two other lectures, Herman Melville and Moby Dick-(4 lectures), Melville's Benito Cereno(2 lectures), Walt Whitman-(5 lectures), Uncle Tom's Cabin, Stowe's Representation of Slavery, Freedom and Art in Uncle Tom's Cabin, Emily Dickinson(3 lectures), Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn-(3 lectures),Pudd'nhead Wilson, Henry James and the Novel of Perception, The Turn Of The Screw, Tuning the Screw Interpretation, Stephen Crane(3 lectures), Robert Frost, T.S. Eliot, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Wm. Faulkner, Eugene O'Neill, Toni Morrison, and more.

This set is in excellent condition from non-smoking home.

We lined up some of the lectures with our American Lightning Lit study this year. For us, it was a nice addition.
