I need the Text, TM, Solutions Manual and ANY OTHER helps available. Does anyone know if this book is used on any online courses??
I think this will be a good sequay from Jacob's Geometry. My son had much success with this book (read...no crying or hair pulling or head banging...averaging about an 85...) VP says Foersters is a natural follow-up to Jacobs. he already completed TT Algebra 1 & 2, so I think he will be able to handle Foersters. he is math & science bound...so...I am going to have an in-person tutor once a week. We need to get our math up to snuff!!!
Thanks,
Faithe

Hi Faithe,
I just ordered my stuff for next yr. Kolbe Academy has daily lesson plans for the book to be completed in one yr and another set of plans for 3 semesters. Math Without Borders has DVDs. You can also order the text, SM, lesson plans, and DVDs all from Kolbe if you want.
I ordered my texts from Amazon, though, b/c they were cheaper there.

I didn't see that...thanks, however, I need to purchase books that are in the best used shape possible...They need to last through 3 more liddoes...and I can't stand someone else's writing in the book...it detracts from my own!
Thanks for the tip though....

Sorry, I didn't read the whole post. I just happened to notice the heading while looking for something else. I agree, someone else's writing can be very distracting.

Well, people say that the books don't change much from year to year. I decided that I would look for something in the 90's. I wound up with 1999 student and teacher and 2001 solutions. I did do a bit of double checking and shopping around to make sure the years were close. Some of the websites let you sort by date. That's helpful.
