HI-
I, too, am looking for high school level texts for the Fall 2008.
I've used the RealScience4Kids Level I books this year for grades 6
and 8. I used them as introductions to the subjects as the topics
are so well-explained on such a basic, but informative level. Of
course, I needed to supplement them, too, to be appropriage for my
boys. I did have access to Glenco Grade Levels 6-8 texts but rarely
used them as I found them too cluttered, too filled with "sidebar"
topics, and generally hard to ignore the extra "glitz".
I had looked at Apoligia - but found them too Christian-based for my
situation.
So......here's where I need help....
Any textbook suggestions that make similar to RealScience4Kids that
make Science fun without sacrificing content and without the "busy,
glitzy" pages?
Help!
