Best film version of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn?

By "best", I mean most true to the book.


1939 version (with Mickey Rooney as Huck)

1960 version (with Eddie Hodges as Huck)

1993 version (with Elijah Wood as Huck)

I don't remember seeing a movie version that I really liked. But we did listen to an audio book that was great. Listened about three, four times. It's a wonderful story to hear read aloud.

I hope somebody can recommend a good movie version. I'd like to see it.
