My son was confirmed last night. (Yay!) Due to hubby traveling and health issues with my mom, I completely forgot to get him a gift (bad mommy!). Any ideas for a meaningful gift from his disorganized, clueless parents? We are Catholic.

A copy of the catechism, a really nice book on the lives of saints, a leather-bound bible, a chastity ring (this was what our oldest chose.....it is a really nice Holy Spirit sterling silver ring. We discussed how his wearing it is a witness to his faith, a reminder of his confirmation, and a reminder of chastity/purity for his future wife)

A necklace (St. Christopher, crucifix), small wooded box, or masculine jewelry box? Watch, leather wallet.
Congrats on DS' Confirmation!

I would be more inclined to make sure he has a Bible first. A concordance is also a neat tool to have. A copy of Rome Sweet Home by Scott Hahn would be nice. I really appreciated and understood the Catholic Church more after reading it.

Perhaps a crucifix, rosary, something to do with his patron saint?
