Crossposting this here - I'm thinking some of you may have used VP in the past and could help me out!

We have pretty much decided to use Grade 6 VP for ds 12 this fall. My question: I'm looking at the catalog, and trying to figure out exactly what I "need" for the timeline component of the course. I'm not sure what the difference is between the "packets" and the CD's. Do I need both?

Also, we do have the huge Adam's Chronological Chart of History, which I love! Could that suffice? I do love the idea of ds creating a timeline as he studies, as opposed to looking up dates, etc already on a timeline.

Last question - we are thinking of moving into Omnibus after next year. Does the timeline transition into Omni as well? Is it used there, or is it pretty much a lower-grade activity?

Thanks!

We continued using a timeline while we used Omnibus. We found it very helpful. We didn't use the Veritas Press ones, so I can't help you with that question. But we did use a timeline while doing Omnibus.
