hot spice mix? to add to my pork sausage

I need a mixture that I can make myself to add to my pork sausage for a dip today. I have Cayenne peppers( dry) and dry roasted peppers.

I used to be able to buy hot sausage at Wild Oats but since they were bought out by whole foods they no longer sell it.

Can somebody give me an idea of what I can put in there to make it spicy hot?

I would use cayenne, paprika, salt, thyme, and maybe a bit of sage if it needed that breakfast-y taste. :)
