I'm SURE that this has been discussed before; if anyone has a link to a previous thread, feel free to post it. It's a hard thing to search for, and I was unsuccessful when I tried to do so.
Can you tell me what activities and projects you and your kids most enjoyed when you went through SOTW2? I have the activity guide, but I don't have the time or patience to do everything. ;) What do you consider the best of the best?
Thank you! :001_smile:

Leila,
It has been a couple of years since I have done SOTW 2, but I remember one that sticks out in my mind is the disappearance of the two brothers. My daughter loves to draw and she loved to the extra drawings for that.
My daughter also enjoyed making ink and the playing the queen game (not sure if that was in the activity book or from the Hands and Heart kit).

We are doing lapbooks more than the activities in the SOTW 2 book. But, we too are very interested in the 2 princes disappearing. :)

Thanks, gals! I remember the story of the two princes from Our Island Story; my dd loved that, too.
Anyone else? :lurk5:

We had such fun with SOTW2!
Highlights: (not all from the AB)
Illuminations
Making a Coat of Arms
Making a Code of Chivalry for our home (it's still in use)
Making a sword and sheild
Dressing up as a monk
We also read lots of fabulous books. SOTW2 is fun!!

Thank you, Sandra! These look great. :001_smile: We're definitely doing the monks' dinner; my MIL is coming up to sew robes with the kids. Woohoo! And they're going to eat in silence while I read. Wouldn't that be awesome EVERY night? ;)
