Ds used TT Algebra 1 in 7th and Algebra 2 in 8th grade. I am now wondering about his high school sequence. While I love TT's style, DVD's, solutions to everything...etc. my science/ math oriented ds needs a more challenging program for High School. I was thinking of using TT Geometry w/ Life of Fred Geo. for 9th...the Lial's Int. Algebra (Algebra 2) for 10th....
Then what??
What math would come next??

Does this sound like an ok plan for 9th and 10th??

Help this math challenged mom...
Thanks,
Faithe

After Lial's Intermediate Algebra your ds would be ready for Pre-Calc. Lial's, Foerster's, Larson--or any community college level Pre-Calc course...and after that a Calculus course if he is inclined.

There will be a bit of overlap in the beginning of Intermediate Algebra. Have your DS work the CHAPTER REVIEWS for chapters he seems familiar with. This will give you a tool to use in case he needs to go back and practice/review/learn a concept.
