I have looked at this a few times and hate the price, but it looks really good. has anyone done this and has reviews?
My dd loves to write and I just don't want her to crammed into a formula.

My dd and I were just looking at this class last night. Have you read the diagnostic instructions/exam? It sounds like a very challenging class. I was surprised that the parent is required to attend the first three classes and with some of her writing rules. The one that got my daughter's attention is never starting a sentence with a, an or the. We're still thinking about it - interesting to read any responses you get.

One of my daughters did this class several years ago, when she was in 8th grade. Both she and I give it the highest recommendation . . . assuming the student is open to spending an entire year on the Narnia series, of course. ;)
My dd found the class challenging but not impossible. My perception was that grading was rigorous but also very fair.
Some of the details are foggy at this point, but basically both DD and I give both the class and the teacher (Mrs. Richards, I believe) a enthusiastic "thumbs up".
