I'll have a 1st and 3rd grader next year and after looking at MFW's site, where I noticed they have a separate program for 1st graders, am left wondering if I can keep them together for history in MFW or not? Sorry for the run-on sentence, it's late!
Also, using MFW, could I still do FLL, WWE, AAS, and Horizons Math? Would I be replacing parts of the MFW curriculum that I'd have paid for?

Yes, you can! The K and 1st grade programs are designed to do alongside an older program. When you are doing an older program, you do the basics of MFW 1st, which for me is the phonics lessons, copywork, narrations, Bible reader and Bible notebook. For the rest of the subjects, you have them join in with the older program. So you would not do the science, art or music for 1st grade (these are included in the program to do when your oldest is in 1st). I also did not do the hands on activities for 1st. I kept first simple, but we did do the Bible memory and Bible lessons.
1st includes Math, but I already had a math program so I used that instead. For 1st you would not need FLL or WWE or spelling, those elements are included in 1st. I have my 2nd graders do WWE 2, FLL, and Spelling. They have done well and usually do FLL very quickly. For your 3rd grader, you will add all of your language arts and math yourself, so you can use whatever you want to, although there are some writing assignments included related to the history.
