prez. candidates - how can we find rallies in Texas

I am interested in taking my kids to see McCain as well as Clinton in the next few days. How can I find a rally or speaking engagement in my area of Texas?

plus campaign visits + Texas, or call your local newspaper, they'd be likely to help. It was difficult to see Obama when he was in Houston, I think the tickets were all gone minutes after they were made available. It was very exciting, tho.

The candidates probably list their open-to-the-public speaking engagements on their websites. You might want to check there.

when I was researching this, the state party offices shared that the candidates don't actually HAVE a speaking schedule. A lot is left up to last minute planning. Usually only about three days notice.

We went to hear Ron Paul and Obama speak when they were in the DFW area, but apparently we missed Hillary and Huckabee. darn. You will need to be checking local county party offices every other day or you will miss them.

and yeah --be sure you get there 2 hours early and be prepared to wait, Wait, WAIT.
