Well - we do grammar too but this was so neat. We are using Analytical Grammar and Classical Writing Older Beginners. We haven't done subject compliments yet in AG. (well AG doesn't call it a subject compliment) So when we got to that in CW I asked my dd if she knew what a subject compliment was.
She said - well I know what it is in Latin and proceeds to describe it perfectly. Yippee. It really does work. And best of all, she thought it was so fun to apply her Latin grammar to her writing/English work.
