Writing Strands with Imitations in Writing?

Both programs look good to me and was wondering if I could make my son do both or would that be overkill?

I think he would like Imitations in Writing and the Writings Strands look simple to use.

He is in the middle of WWE Level 3, so what level should I pick in Strands and Imitations?

You could alternate...work in WS for a while, then switch to Imitations...I don't think I would use both each day, each week. WS often recommends taking a week off of writing after the completion of a project, so you could do Imitations during that "week off" from WS.

I believe WS 3 is where you would start...there is a place on their website that tells you at which level to begin.

I'm not sure about Imitations.
