Have any of you seen this video already?
http://www.freemarketcure.com/brainsurgery.php
It's a five minute video about a Canadian man who had a brain tumor, but wasn't able to be treated quickly enough in Canada and ended up paying out of pocket to have the surgery done in the US.
I don't think that I am in favor of government-funded medical care. I do think that improvements can be made in our system, but I prefer to have the freedom to shop around for medical services. On the other hand, it's obvious that this video carries an agenda, and the approach it takes is less than balanced. I'm interested to learn what others think, and I'd really love to hear from people who live in Canada and other countries that have government funded healthcare.
Thanks!
