Classical Conversations Parent Practicum in Southern California!

Has anyone attended a Classical Conversations/IEW Parent Practicum? I just found out about the one this Thursday-Saturday in Southern CA. It's a looooong drive, but would be worth it to me if it gives me a better understanding of CC.

If you've attended one, was it more useful than simply reading their site or their Foundations book?
