Standardized Testing Questions

I have always used Woodcock-Johnson but my oldest tested at last year college level in reading last year that, though I would love to say was because he has such an incredible Mom, cued me that the test may be beyond him now. I liked it in early years but want to get more info. from them now.

I am considering using Stanford but I am a little confused. Which one do I need as one seems more comprehensive but not sure about this.

Also, as you see their ages below, (which is another reason I love this board now) would you use Stanford for everyone or only oldest. Can someone give me some ideas and guidance?

We use the IOWA with our homeschool group. It's what the group uses so that's what I go with. I tend to be a follower. :o

We use the IOWA because it was offered at the local homeschool store...we like it.

I am planning on using the ITBS this year. My main reason for choosing this is because I can give the test myself without any other kids. When I looked at the Stanford you have to have 2 or 3 other kids that you are testing that are not related to you. I looked and the tested subject areas look very similar.
