Hi all!

Does anyone still use Calvert's Memory Lane. I am trying to decide whether to sell it or just ditch it. I have the set of VHS videos. Does anyone use VHS videos anymore?

Thanks for any input!

Do you mean Melody Lane? They changed the name to Discoveries in Music when they switched over to DVDs, which we use. I'm sure some folks still use VHS (my libarary carries a lot of VHS tapes, so we use our VHS player). You might try to sell it, you just might not get a lot for it. I found it good for music appreciation.

Calvert still sells the program, although it's now called, "Discoveries in Music," and includes a few small musical instruments. I believe it costs around $150, so I'm sure you could probably re-sell your set on eBay or the swaps for a pretty good price, even though it's VHS.

I have the same set, and have to admit that we never used it. I wonder if it would work with a 9yo. (I think it's called Melody Lane, and I'm assuming that's the set you have, too!)

Hi again!

I just found the link for the set on the Calvert website:

I'd sell it. I prefer VHS tapes over DVD's. They are much more durable. I have 2 little boys who think DVD's are great frisbies, or they leave them on the floor and get scratched. I'm sure someone will purchase them. A little bit of money is better than nothing!

How much would you want for them? I may be interested.

Hi Ladies!

Yes, it is Melody Lane, sorry about that.

Thanks so much for all your input.

Yes, I do want to sell it for maybe $50. I think I paid $100. If you would like to make me an offer, I am open to offers.

Email me at sarauscher@verizon.net if you are interested.

Thanks!
