I did two loads of laundry today--washed, dried, put away.
I ironed three of dh's shirts (I swear I was not the one who bought shirts which have to be ironed) and a whole bunch of napkins. Yes, napkins. The tablecloth will have to wait another day.
I got out a counted cross stitch project I haven't worked on in over 3 years and cross-stitched away while watching Pirates of the Caribbean--the Curse of the Black Pearl. Ok, the movie was not the important part but I had to throw that in there, because I LOL again in all the same places and tried to imagine when I could throw such lines as "But why is the rum gone?" into random conversations. So anyway I was working for over 2 hours. Not that anyone except me can actually tell, but that's beside the point.

I ironed. I actually know where my ironing board is, the fancy, schmancy one I bought at Costco. And--hold onto your hat--I put LIQUID STARCH in with the napkins when I washed them. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Really - this needs to be sent to Area 51 asap. Word should not get out that there are people ironing AND using liquid starch. (running to hide my pile of "things that should probably be ironed" in a much safer place):eek:
