Oh, rats. My blog is no longer a secret. Ideas?

I went to my blog a few minutes ago, and there was a comment on it from dd.

I was really enjoying blogging, but I was only enjoying it because it was the only thing on the planet that I didn't have to share with my (wonderful) family.

I saved the posts and then deleted the blog (because I really, really don't want to even bother if anyone in my household is going to be reading it). (I probably should have checked into other options before deleting it, I realize.)

However, I'd like to start over with a new one (one that I will do a better job of hiding). I just don't have a clue as to how to do it without her (the only snoopy one in the bunch) finding it again.

Is there a way that I can make it password protected, or only allow invited people to read it?

I'm not all that savvy when it comes to this type of thing -- any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!

Okay, I went digging, and I think I can figure out how to get it back to the same address, but only allow those I invite to view it.

If I change my password to one that dd doesn't know and make sure I always log out, I ought to be good. (I think.)

I didn't save my comments -- I suppose I need to figure out the e-mail addresses of those who have commented in the past so I can invite them to read in the future!

I see that I've made a mess of things . . . off to see if I can fix it!
