Quarter Mile Math Software: Have you used this?

Is this a good program for math drill?

I am considering this for my son for next year to help cement math concepts.

My dc think it is great, but they get no screen time except QMM and Critical Thinking software, so it probably seems exciting to them. :D They have definitely learned their math facts from it.

We don't play computer games in our house so I think my son will probably enjoy it...

The racing format was very stressful to my son. If your kids are motivated at the idea of rattling off the math facts faster and faster, they'll like it. If they freeze up under pressure, they'll hate it.

They love to race each other. The main problem I have is seeing if they are doing challenging facts. I'll catch my oldest ds doing addition just to get a great score. Oh well, at least they are learning.

My dc both disliked the pressure of the competition. THey watched the horses or cars moving up the screen more than watching the math facts.
