She has taken Alg I and II and will take geometry the year that she takes her SAT in the spring.
We're about to sign her up for a summer prep class b/c it's the most convenient time. Is this a problem not having had geometry?
Thanks,
Whitney

I don't regret using that sequence, but testing would have been easier if we'd started the sequence a year earlier. Things did eventually even out, though.
A good prep course should help her understand how to maximize use of time on the concepts she has studied and make informed decisions on whether to answer or omit questions dealing with unfamiliar concepts.
FWIW, my son tended to perform best on questions dealing with whatever math he happened to be taking at the time he took the test. You might want to be sure your daughter has a chance for some review closer to the test date. Maybe you could make practice tests a part of your work; sometimes I had my son do a couple of sections each week. Occasionally, I set aside a half-day for a real-time practice test.
