I'm taking my first cruise on Thursday and will be stopping in Key West - what should I do there?

Any other suggestions/comments on having a happy cruise trip???

We lived there 25 years ago. There was an open air kind of trolley that did a tour of the island. Hemingway's home is there. It is also home to the southernmost point in the continental US. Conch Fritters, seafood, and Cuban Food are specialties. Martello tower once held a recovered treasure from a sunken ship, I don't know if it still does.

Rent bikes or scooters, easy to do when you get off the boat, and tour the island. You can just ride (or walk) right up to Hemingway's home. Have fun!

What cruise line will you be on? We've just booked a Disney Cruise for next January and it also stops at Key West. Their excursions include an historical tour, kayaking, glass bottom boat tours, butterfly house/nature preserve, shipwreck museum, and snorkeling.

Where else will you be going? Have fun!!!
