Lial's BCM CD necessary?

I see used Lial's 7th edition for sale at a more reasonable price on Amazon. They say "No CD included." What is in the CD and is it a must to be able to use the book?

We used BCM without CD. The text is very well laid out. The explanations are very clear.

:iagree: I've gone through this text three times, with three different kids, successfully. No cd or outside helps (although I have the Key to booklets on the shelf in case we need back-up...only used for my math-challenged artist).
