I've already announced on the hs board that ds was accepted to his first-choice school, a direct-to-professional pharmacy program. Friday, he registered for classes and discovered that he was part of only 2% of the pre-pharmacy students who received a scholarship. (Not a full ride, but it's something! He actually turned down a full-ride at another school.)

Good for him (and YOU), Sandy!!!! I don't know where he's going, but we're casting our eyes up your way to both IU (but probably for grad school) and DePauw, right now......

Congrats!
It's just amazing how it feels to be on the OTHER side of the college search/application months, isn't it?

Heh. Well, um, not so's you'd notice. Not on weekends, anyhow.
I'm just sayin'.
Lots of DePauw benefits (they are 30 mins away) without any of the DePauw distractions during the week.

Yeah, I'm right there with ya. I'd prefer no distractions - but I'm pretty sure it ain't happenin'...... although maybe I'll sneak in a side trip while we're in the area, hehehe.....
