I know there is an online link with information containing sources of paragraphs for extra practice of outlining.
If anyone can direct me I would appreciate it.

If you join the IEW families yahoo group then you have access to lots of sources. Specifically, in the Files under Units 1 & 2 Help there are paragraphs from the Magic School Bus books and paragraphs about Rome, the human body, and others. There are also more paragraphs on the IEW website -- I think under free lesson plans. Sorry that I can't provide the link -- this is my first post and I don't know how to link yet!:)

The best thing I have found for getting paragraphs is to use the encyclopedias available through our library's website. I can cut-and-paste them into Word and make them just what I want, and they can cover any topic we are studying.
