George's Secret Key to the Universe by Lucy and Stephen Hawking. Action packed science fiction for elementary school kids filled with factual information about stars, planets, comets, black holes and more. My kids couldn't put it down and neither could I!

Yay! Thanks for letting us know you have enjoyed it. I read about it back before it was released and added it to my amazon wish list (where it still sits), but I am glad to know it's readable and enjoyable for the younger ages!

Thanks, I will add this one to our list of must haves. I am trying to narrow it down, but he likes to read for science and history.

After a visit to the Natural History Museum, my son is all about planets, comets, galaxies right now. Unfortunately, my knowledge is pretty limited. I'll check these out- maybe it will help with the questions I've been getting lately, like, "Will a black hole use gravity to suck things in?"

Hawking and Hawking include an entire chapter with Stephen Hawking's latest theories about black holes :)
