Looking for a site that compare children's vitamins

I'd also appreciate suggestions for vitamins that you (and your kids) really like. Right now, my dc take Nutri Stars by Rainbow Light, recommended by abbeyej : ), which seem to be a good choice from my perspective, but they aren't crazy about them.

I prefer something without added sugar, corn syrup, or artificial colors, with whole foods as a base. Of course, my dc prefer something that tastes like Gummi Bears!

We use the regular Walmart brand but have you checked at your local health food store. They may have some without the additive stuff. Also watchout for the ones with artificial sweetners. Very dangerous.

I usually buy them from Vitaminshoppe.com, but may try the site above next time, since they have a better price on them. My ds is fairly picky about vitamins and how they taste and he likes this one.

I know what you mean about the taste of Nutri Stars. My dc have been taking them on and off for years. And in fact, yesterday I went looking for the same thing you're looking for--an alternative. My dc don't like the Animal parade vitamins. So I bought some cod liver oil and chewable vitamins for a month and plan to go back to Nutri Stars.

Unlike most children's vitamins, N S's have enzymes in them. They are so beneficial for kids and adults too. I think you are getting far more with Nutri Stars than you can with most children's vitamins. Enzymes will actually prevent constipation and kill viruses that kids are exposed to. I don't know that N S has enough to kill viruses but I know they help my kids with constipation.

Anyway, I think N S's are the best out there.

I give my kids Trader Joes. The components are mostly the same as Animal Parade but in half the dose, so they each get two. I only buy them because they like to take vitamins.

I do buy the Animal Parade Kids Greenz, though to go along with the vitamin. I think those are more valuable.
