Anyone used Vyvanse?

Our pedi had a long discussion with me about the possibility of using this with our ADHD/spectrum kiddo. He said that he is having great results with this med with kids who have the ADHD/autism combo. He believes it is because it passes the gut and is metabolized differently than many of the other stimulants.

I would love to hear feedback from any who have used this med with or without success!

We just restarted it today. My ds is almost 15 but we didn't get an ADHD dx till last summer, when we had to face it due to his having trouble in PS.

He tried Concerta and that was very bad for him. He tried Vyvnase for about 2 months and it seemed very good! He suddenly decided to quit taking it :rolleyes: but I think it freaked him out that he was suddenly doing so much better in so many ways.

It didn't really have any negative physical effects the way the COncerta did.
