. . . what technique(s) or program are you using?

I'm assuming that things tend to be more immersion-based at this age.

So, what's your method?

TIA!

We're using La Clase Divertida with my 6 and 7 year old and it's working great. It's not a rigorous program, but it's fun and the kids and picking stuff up and loving it.

I am using the Salsa Spanish (http://www.gpb.org/salsa) program in a co-op with kids from 5-8. They really like it. We learn on average about 12 words a week. The first episode is not online, but you can find an excerpt (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF6JjqIL9jg) of 90 percent of it on you tube.

There is a link to another site that has lesson plans which are also free.

I really like it because it is a program that is designed for a teacher that knows little or no Spanish. I have learned alot just by teaching them.

Are you talking about the Goldilocks and the Three Bears episode not being online? I'm confused, as we've watched it several times. Here's the link we've used - the episodes aren't listed in order, but I believe there are more than were listed on the link you shared.

Youngest doing Elementary Spanish 1/2 older two doing Elementary Spanish 5/6 4 days a week 20 minutes a day. On 5th day they read easy readers and watch a Spanish video as well as playing Lyric Language Spanish in my car. They are learning a ton. I am fluent in Spanish raised in a bi-lingual household as well as taking Spanish as a minor. I can speak to them in Spanish with basic commands and understand.
