Ok, I've been recruited to help the daycare reduce their costs (because I have a degree in food service, they think I can help, ha) Anyway, give me your best food ideas, also they just have a part time cook that is only there for about three hours, so really no baking or anything. They do have some kids that eat breakfast (usually cereal) snack, lunch, afternoon snack.

Any suggestions.
Thanks,
Kristine

Ravioli, green beans and applesauce

Fish Sticks, mashed potatoes and pudding

Mac and Cheese, peas, and peaches

Shepherds pie, pineapples..something else ??

Chicken Nuggets, tator tots, fruit cocktail

Spaghetti, green beans or peas and fruit of some sort

Fridays was always sandwiches

They offered PB&J at all times

The shepherds pie took the most time to fix, just because they had to layer the foods, everything was cooked though. They just heated it the oven

I am sure there was a couple of other things on the menu but I can't think of it.

Soups are a good way to sneak veggies in for kids. Maybe with alphabet pasta?

Wraps (using tortillas) with different innards (my own kids like meat and cheese)
