Our cell phones are just 2 months old. Dd's appears to not be holding a charge. She charged it overnight, but today it's showing only one "bar". She doesn't have games or texting on her phone. She uses it sparingly as a phone and/or camera, and checks it maybe half a dozen times a day for missed messages or time. It is showing fully charged while on charger, but soon after it is disconnected, it starts losing a charge.

I just used the same charger for my phone the other night and it seemed to work fine.

Is this typical? Would it fall w/in a warranty (I haven't a clue what the fine print is/was on ours)?

This happened to me with my new Razor phone last year. I took it in to Alltel and they said I need to turn it off to charge it once in a while. It is sort of a reset thing. It worked. It is over a year old now and holds a charge fine. And I rarely remember to turn it off to charge it.

We'll try this right now. Sounds like the perfect likely solution.
