Why can't we edit more than once?

I can edit a post one time and then the edit button does not reappear in the post. To really re-edit the post, I'd really need to copy it and repost under the same or different name!

I don't like to put edits in replies. I like to put them directly in the original post.

I think you are able to edit 3 times.

On my last FS thread I had the same problem and couldn't edit more than once. The edit button wasn't there anymore.

I am able to edit the post but not the title line in the original post, so if I add something and want to include it in the title, I can't :confused:

I can edit posts all I like for 1 week after I posted the original. If it is over 1 week then I cannot edit. I just edited a for sale post that I have had up since this past Monday. I have edited it several times.

Is your post over a week old?
