this would be used to supplement Horizons with a 1st, 4th, and 6th grader. I like the looks of both Singapore and Math Mammoth. Has someone seen or used both that could compare them for me. Thanks.

I'm using both right now with different kids. Here's my compare and contrast:
Singapore has more verbal explanations, it often presents things through a brief story. MM is very visual, there are almost no words on the sheets but it does provide a careful progression of skills that "explains" the concept through doing the problems, I hope that's clear.
MM is more dense than Singapore, it packs a lot onto each page. It's easy to reprint anything you need more practice with or to use the link it provides to print extra drill sheets. It also includes a list of games and websites to reinforce skills, it's not huge but it includes about 10-15 activities for each workbook. Singapore offers extra practice workbooks and if you have a child that's young for their grade or needs extra time these are great, I use Intensive Practice with dd. You could also easily use MM to supplement Singapore.
MM can easily be used to supplement any curriculum or reteach something that didn't stick. There are grade level books through the first half of 5th grade but it's easy to compare the table of contents and put together your own grade level program from the Blue Series and save yourself a lot of money.
If you do choose MM, you need a color printer. If you don't have one and don't want to buy one right now, Singapore is the better choice.

Math Mammoth can come as topics and my dd has used them quite a bit as a supplement. They are excellent for stopping on a subject for a while. I haven't actually looked at their graded set, but from what I understand it's exactly the same thing rearranged a bit.
It's meant to be independent after the child can read... which is good. :) The topics are covered thoroughly in many different ways, so the child sees that there is more than one way to solve a problem. The only thing I really don't like is that the type is sort of small and there are A LOT of practice problems per page. (Oh and you have to print everything out! ugh!) And what Julianna said about a color printer... it's a must! I tried printing in black and it just wasn't the same.
We just switched back to Singapore as our Main curriculum. It is also very thorough. The topics are presented in a few different ways. I think the practice they give is just the right amount. The font size is perfect. :) I'm only as far as level 2B right now, so I don't know how much more independent it might get. Right now I go over the text and my dc do the workbook pages independently.
I'm really bad at just "comparing." I hope that helped some.
