I'm looking at next year's math needs after finishing Geometry. We used Lial's for Algebra 1 and I have it for Algebra 2. Ds doesn't know if he wants to use Lial's. I'd like to have other book options to talk about with him. Thanks.

Besides Lial's Intermediate Algebra, Chalkdust (Larson text) and Foerster come to mind as other excellent Algebra 2 programs. All of these texts were made to the same 'math standards' --so moving to a different program will offer minimal adjustments (if any).

I'm so glad you posted. I've pretty much followed all your math recommendations whenever possible. Thanks. We'll look at those.
