I'm hoping someone can refresh my memory on placing a child into R&S English if they have not used or have been away from the program for a while. I can't remember if SWB suggests 5th or 6th grade for older students.
I have two ds going into 6th & 7th grades next yr. We will be bringing them home from public and private schools. They were homeschooled for K/1st thru 3rd/4th grades and we used R&S English up through part of the 3rd/4th grade books. Older ds has had more grammar (Transitive/intransitive verbs, etc.) using Holt primary level. Younger ds seems to still be working on parts of speech.
Any advice would be welcome. I really enjoyed the R&S and it worked for both my boys and would like to pick it up again. Just not sure where to place them.
