If so, which classes?
It seems that the history suggest 11th and up.
I know they are great classes but very rigorous.
Do you recommend a student taking any of these classes in 10th?
Thanks for posting.

My oldest took AP Human Geography through PAHomeschoolers in 10th. Geography is a huge interest of his. The teacher was excellent, the course was great and he was well prepared for the exam. AP HG is supposedly one of the *easier* APs. He also took APBio that year (through Florida Virtual) and it was much harder and more work.

The difficulty of the AP histories, from what I've gathered, lies in the depth and breadth of knowledge that the student must have to do well on the exam. It's not that the material itself is that hard, but just that there is a lot of it! The free response questions also require more of a true essay format while some of the APs require more of a short answer (e.g. U.S. Gov and Politics, Human Geography). But, my dc have not yet taken an AP history. This is info I've gathered from the board and others.

My senior is taking AP Statistics this year; however, there are younger students in the class. The prerequisite is Algebra 2.
