Parker and Baldridge. These are listed as resources on the Singapore website. Does anyone own these? Are they useful for explaining the why's of math? Has it helped you to have a deeper understanding to thus enable your children to have a better understanding as well?

I have this book. It's basically a college text for future teachers, who actually do Singapore work alongside reading the text.

I learned a few things, such as different categories of word problems. I'm a book nerd & glad I got to read this.

However, I learned a lot more from the Home Instructor Guides as far as understanding the specific topics in a lesson, and different teaching strategies.
